A narrative-driven microsite was developed for The Oceania Project to support the release of the Songlines recording, presenting the story of humpback whale song alongside related content and direct product access. The site functioned as a focused digital environment, combining editorial storytelling with a clear path to purchase.
Content was structured to guide visitors through a sequence of pages that balanced visual immersion with organised information. The layout combined large-format imagery, editorial text, and supporting navigation to maintain clarity while reinforcing the thematic narrative of the project.
A basic commerce layer was integrated to allow direct purchase of the recording within the microsite, linking content engagement with product access. In parallel, an email campaign system was developed to extend communication beyond the site, supporting ongoing engagement and promotion through structured updates.
The work reflects an early systems-led approach to narrative and product integration, where content, structure, and distribution are brought together to support both storytelling and direct interaction.
